Netia Poland Picks Witbe's CDN Video Quality Manager

Netia, one of the leading telecom operator in Poland has selected Witbe’s CDN Video Quality Manager to monitor its TV delivery network.

The solution which was implemented by VECTOR includes its unique OTT Monitoring Robots embedding the new OTT v2 plugin for Adaptive Bitrate Streaming. They have the capacity to interact with CDN cache servers, just as any viewers would do using a mobile TV application. The solution proactively helps to identify manifests, chunk errors, detect loops in live streams, measure download speed and highlight load balancing issues.

According to Witbe, its CDN Video Quality Manager is now the keystone of Netia’s Quality Assurance and monitors 176 channels over its CDN infrastructure. Netia is able to detect unavailability, performance and conformance issues and enforce SLAs with their CDN providers.

"Witbe offered us all the technological features and guarantees of reliability and conformance we were looking for. We are confident that thanks to Witbe’s CDN Video Quality Manager, our subscribers will benefit from the service performance and availability that they are entitled to expect at all times. It was also important for us to cooperate with a professional company to integrate this solution in our network. We decided to choose VECTOR company, who provided us a complete end-to-end implementation of Witbe’s CDN Video Quality Manager.”

- Miroslaw Suswek, CTO, Netia
