MVNO TruConnect, formally known as TruConnect Mobile has acquired FreedomPop’s unique and proprietary ETC acquisition platform.

TruConnect said it aligns itself with the FCC, leveraging its new platform to better qualify Lifeline applicants and protect the Universal Service Fund with best-in-class processes. In addition, the company’s tenacity for unique and extensive digital acquisitions have enabled it to serve a broader set of customers, some of whom are unable to be reached by traditional, offline means, says TruConnect.

Nathan Johnson, CEO, TruConnect
TruConnect is committed to working together with the FCC and state governments to address the challenges faced by low-income Americans on the wrong side of the digital divide, all while protecting the Universal Service Fund from waste, fraud, and abuse.
