Vodafone India has selected 5BARz's Network Extender technology to improve indoor cellular coverage. The operator has issued a follow on purchase order to their initial purchase orders for the solution for commercial deployment, following its collaboration with the vendor from the beginning of this year

The 5BARz network extender device incorporates a patented technology to create a single-piece, plug 'n play unit that strengthens weak cellular signals to deliver high quality signals for voice, data and video reception on cell phones and other cellular equipped devices. California-based 5BARz claims that it has developed a critical piece of carrier grade technology that consumers will simply plug into an outlet in their home, office or anywhere else to increase their signal strength by up to 70db.

Samartha Nagabhushanam, 5BARz India, CEO
We are honored to be working with Vodafone India as the first major telecommunications company to commercialize the 5BARz® network extender.

Daniel Bland, CEO of 5BARz International
We understood from the beginning that the commercialization process would be long and arduous and we appreciate the patience from our shareholders these past many months.
