ChinaCache, a China based solution provider offering Content Delivery Network (CDN) services, announced recently that its network has deployed the fully high performance cloud cache (HPCC) technology, a cloud distribution platform that the company developed in-house, enabling the company to transform its traditional file distribution mode CDN to cloud distribution.

Built using high-performance proxy servers and cloud storage system, HPCC platform is designed to reduce resource costs and improve user experience, said the company. The new age CDN platform features some key technical superiorities including distributed systems, business storage separation, node resource pooling, and content intelligent aware function which tackles the internet congestion issues in the country.

ChinaCache belives that the HPCC technology will enhance capabilities such as page acceleration, file distributed download, video streaming media, and mobile Internet, allowing ChinaCache to beef up its core business and contribute to a number of performance indicators within the content delivery services space covering resource utilization, back to the source bandwidth, operational costs and customer costs while at the same time, offering customers more variety of differentiated value-added services.
