Ericsson, today announced that it is working with Intel Security to make managed security solutions available for telecom operators, extending their bundle of services for enterprises. This will see Operators providing services such as intrusion prevention system services, e-mail security and web security solutions. 

Via the collaboration, Ericsson aims to combine its managed services expertise, global delivery capability and network security expertise with Intel Security’s broad portfolio of consumer and enterprise security solutions to enable enterprises to strengthen their security posture. At the same time, telecom operators will contribute their regulatory compliance expertise, local response capabilities and ability to combine communications services with security.
