Nuage Networks Supports Oracle Openstack SDN Integration

  • Nuage Networks, the Alcatel-Lucent venture focused on software-defined networking (SDN) solutions, announced that it will provide support for Oracle OpenStack for Oracle Linux.

  • According to Nuage Networks, the integration will enable greater choice and interoperability for enterprises and cloud providers, helping them to take advantage of the efficiency, performance, scalability, and policy-based automation of SDN in cloud environments. These solutions, which include capabilities across the data center network, can offer customers seamless management for virtualized and non-virtualized infrastructures.

  • Nuage Networks said that its Virtualized Services Platform (VSP) lays the foundation for an open and dynamically controlled data center network fabric to accelerate application programmability, facilitate unconstrained mobility, and maximize compute efficiency for cloud service providers, Web scale operators and leading tech enterprises across the globe.
