According to WeDo, with the implementation of RAID 7, Vodacom will be able to improve its revenue assurance maturity by using the market-leading tool to monitor and audit the provisioning and network service usage business processes.
Vodacom, a pan-African mobile telecommunications company headquartered in South Africa with more than 51 million subscribers across the continent in Lesotho, Mozambique, Tanzania, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Nigeria and South Africa, will be able to take advantage of RAID 7’s pre-built reporting capabilities to provide at-a-glance views of the most relevant key performance indicators to the provisioning and service usage business processes.
In addition to this, RAID 7’s case management feature will also improve and accelerate case resolution by automatically ensuring that the appropriate business users across all levels and departments are alerted and involved at the beginning of every case, ensuring the best outcome for each scenario.

As Vodacom continues to expand and embrace new innovative services such as LTE, mobile money and machine to machine, our processes will become increasingly intricate. To address these ever-evolving challenges it is therefore important to follow these business areas from a revenue assurance perspective as they continue to grow in importance. As well as ensuring that all dimensions of business assurance are covered, WeDo Technologies’ solution will enable us to create a set of custom internal reports which visually link the company’s reporting demands with our business performance in our constantly changing operations environment. This will help us to better analyse and extract the value of our data, as well as help our senior management make more informed decisions that improve and protect the current and future performance of our business.”

- Belinda Jones, Managing Executive , Vodacom

“RAID 7 is a platform which makes complex monitoring processes easier and empowers its users to make sense of massive amounts of raw data which are already available. Telecom operators frequently rely on several applications to manage their business operations, which are often not capable of communicating the integrity of data across the organisation. We are confident that the agreement with Vodacom will be successful and look forward to working closely with the revenue assurance team to see future outcomes of this implementation.”

- João Faísca, WeDo Technologies
