A leading Mobile Network Operator (MNO) in Brazil has selected CSG Systems' solution to manage international roaming traffic. The solution, CSG Roam, is being deployed to handle escalating traffic volumes in advance of the World Cup in June and during the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.

CSG said that their partnership with the MNO spans more than 10 years, during which the carrier has implemented other CSG market-leading solutions that include CSG Interconnect and CSG Intermediate. CSG Roam allows the carrier to manage roaming relationships with its largest and most strategic partners by providing greater visibility, flexibility, and control of multiple roaming agreements to handle increasing consumer demand for access to real-time voice, data, and content.

CSG Roam which  is available in the cloud and by licensing model to support speed-to-market for new offerings and seamless hardware and software updates, handles inbound and outbound LTE data services. It also offers the ability to apply operator-specific roaming discounts and taxes and supports invoice generation.

Technology innovation and regulatory changes have an enormous effect on service provider offerings. CSG Roam provides clients with cost-effective tools that enable them to adapt quickly to market trends, regulations, industry standards, and new technologies. Roam’s flexible product definitions easily support special rating models, including retail rating requirements such as LTE roaming service options.”
