The Wholesale Agreements and Solutions Group, GSMA’s largest working group held its ninth plenary session, WAS#9 last week (8th April 2019 - 11th April 2019) in Kuala Lumpur. The event was hosted by Anam Technologies, a leading provider of SMS Firewall and A2P Monetisation solutions for Mobile Operators across the globe.

The Fast Mode took the opportunity to speak to WAS chair, Kathleen A.Leach from Sprint Corporation on the strides made by the biggest working group within GSMA over the years. The interview touches on the role of WAS in promoting engagement and collaboration between Operators and in catalysing the development of an ecosystem of Operators, vendors and affiliate partners aimed at facilitating interconnect and roaming agreements between Operators and enhancing the technologies, solutions and services in this space. Kathleen also shares on the success of the event and the group’s vision for all the players in this market.
