Olaf Swantee who recently stepped down as CEO of EE, the UK’s largest mobile operator and Europe’s leading 4G-provider is taking over from Libor Voncina as the new CEO of Sunrise, the second largest telecommunications company in Switzerland after Swisscom.

Over the last 4 and a half years, Swantee, previously Head of Europe at Orange (France Telecom) has led EE, created from the merger between Orange and T-Mobile, to become UK's largest mobile provider and clear network leader.

The operator also named the former UBS president Peter Kurer as the new president of the company.
