MASMOVIL Group, the fourth telecommunications operator in Spain has reached a new commercial milestone, surpassing the total number of 2 million fixed broadband customers.

The Group has managed to exceed this figure in a record time of just over four years, being the alternative operator that has taken the least time to reach 2M fixed broadband customers in Spain. Of the total fixed broadband clients, some 1.8M, - more than 90% - correspond to fiber optic clients.

In addition, the 2 million fixed broadband customers have been achieved with unprecedented speed, as the Group closed 2016 with 122,000 customers, added 382,000 in 2017, 487,000 in 2018 and over 500,000 additional customers both in 2019 and in 2020, despite the pandemic situation.

Of the 2M broadband customers, more and more can enjoy other services such as TV through AgileTV distributed by Yoigo and MASMOVIL.

Meinrad Spenger, CEO of the MASMOVIL Group
The Group continues to maintain a solid growth rate, which has led us to exceed 2 million broadband customers in record time, adding 500,000 new registrations in 2020 for the second consecutive year. We are very grateful to the market for their response, and to the customers for their trust.
