MASMOVIL Group has partnered with Singtel to launch Spain's first all-in-one platform for 5G network management, edge computing, cloud and service applications. This partnership will put MASMOVIL at the forefront of 5G services and demonstrate its commitment to technological advancements for the country.
MASMOVIL will now offer its 5G enterprise clients the platform Paragon, a service that enables on-demand network segmentation and slicing to guarantee QoS, and gives access to a robust ecosystem of applications and API services. The platform also allows companies to deploy applications securely in close-to-customer environments (MEC-Multi Access Edge Computing) and in the main public clouds such as Azure or AWS. This approach significantly speeds up the innovation and digitalization process and accelerates time to market, in addition to reducing costs.
For 4G and public cloud, Paragon offers significant improvements in latency and speed thanks to MASMOVIL's 5G network. The platform will soon be used by MASMOVIL clients, specifically, through the Galician operator R which, together with the City Council of Vilagarcía de Arousa, in Pontevedra, will facilitate the online broadcasting of sporting events using MASMOVIL's 5G and edge network.
