Cloud-managed WiFi provider, Mojo Networks has closed a combination of Series E funding and debt of $30 million to strengthen its worldwide go-to-market strategy with a focus on investing in sales, marketing and engineering.
Founded in 2003 and headquartered in Mountain View, California, Mojo Networks delivers cloud-managed WiFi solution to enterprises that doesn’t rely on outdated controllers and proprietary hardware. Mojo Networks was rebranded from AirTight Networks last year.
This weak Mojo also announced the launch of Mojo Aware, an advanced Cognitive WiFi platform that harnesses the power of cloud, big data, automation, and self-awareness to deliver a pristine experience to WiFi users. Mojo Aware introduces new way to manage WiFi networks. Its innovative cognition plane allows network administrators to visualize the quality of experience for all WiFi users - all the time, in every location, regardless of what devices and applications they are using – and enables the network to adapt itself, proactively fixing problems whenever possible. Even if a user does report a problem, Mojo Aware facilitates quick resolution by pinpointing the root cause, even if it has nothing to do with WiFi, said the company.
Rick Wilmer, CEO of Mojo
With consolidation in the market, there is a slowdown of innovation in the industry that helps no one but the incumbents. As an independent, we have the ability to drive change -- we’re elevating enterprise WiFi through the power of the cloud and open standards with a vision for creating networks that do things never seen before.
