Telefonica Peru has signed four-year maintenance contract worth 100 million euros with Spanish network services company Ezentis for the maintenance, operation and construction of telephone networks in several districts of the city of Lima.

Ezentis which is listed on the Stock Market of Madrid and Bilbao is one of the leading Spanish companies in the development and maintenance of electrical, telecommunications and water infrastructures. It provides technology and telecommunications solutions for different sectors such as banking, insurance, defense, health and transportation among others.

It also owns a wide international presence, mainly focused in Latin America where more than the 90 % of its business comes from. Currently it is also present in Brazil, Chile , Argentina , Peru , Jamaica , Panama , and Morocco.

This enlargement of the contract in Peru by Telefonica, represents another sign of confidence in our work and places us at a contracting figure in October close to EUR 100 million, almost the half of all 2012 contracting volume.
