Allot Communications, Wednesday announced that a leading communication service provider (CSP) in Latin America providing fixed, mobile and TV cable services, is using Allot WebSafe Business to power its network-based Security-as-a-Service (SECaaS) offerings to thousands of businesses across the region.
Allot WebSafe Business is a network-based security service protecting mobile and fixed users against a variety of cyber threats. Adding to the growing portfolio of revenue-generating services delivered by the Allot Service Gateway, Websafe Business provides organizations with powerful anti-malware and anti-phishing protection for email and web traffic, content filtering and ad-blocking as well as personalized web filtering services that allow businesses to enforce a corporate policy for safe Internet access.
To complement its SECaaS offerings for businesses, the operator also offers the Allot ContentProtector solution, providing URL blacklisting for regulatory compliance. The solution operates at the network-level for an additional protection layer to the WebSafe Business deployment.
