Cisco Unveils NFV Solution to Help Digital Transformation for Enterprise Customers

Cisco, this week unveils its Network Function Virtualization solution suite to its enterprise customers - Digital Network Architecture (DNA) to complement its data center based Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) technology.

Launched at the company’s annual Cisco Partner Summit, Cisco's DNA is an open and software-based network-wide framework that spans the core, WAN, access edge, branch office and security, delivered within the Cisco ONE Software family, enabling simplified software-based licensing, and helping with investment protection and flexibility.

Rob Soderbery, SVP for Enterprise Products and Solutions, Cisco
Cisco DNA brings together virtualization, automation, analytics, cloud and programmability to build that platform. The acronym for the Digital Networking Architecture -- DNA -- isn't an accident. We're fundamentally changing the DNA of networking technology.
