AsiaInfo-Linkage, Asia’s leading supplier of BSS systems, has signed a contract for its business support system (BSS) with Telenor ASA (Telenor Group). The win marks the first major contract with a top tier European operator, representing AsiaInfo’s first project after the company formally launched operations in the EMEA region last year. AsiaInfo will support Telenor's BSS transformation plan with it proprietary billing, customer relationship management, and real-time analytics software, including the Company’s Veris™ BSS solution. The Veris BSS solution, a cloud-based platform provides simplified customer support operations as compared to a legacy BSS solution. Asiainfo Linkage says that it currently serves more than 890 million users in Asia.
