US cloud communications services provider, Vonage announced its plans to launch its SmartWAN in early 2016 powered by the VeloCloud Cloud-Delivered SD-WAN (Software-Defined Wide Area Network) technology. The solution is aimed at businesses with a high demand for voice, video and data communications, enabling them to conduct their day-to-day business operations and works over a private or public network.
Vonage SmartWAN is designed for businesses that operate over the company’s private MPLS network or over the top of an existing broadband connection to enhance the performance of mission critical applications such as Virtual Desktop, Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), CRM tools and Hosted Email. VeloCloud Cloud-Delivered SD-WAN technology boasts unique combination of Dynamic Multipath Optimization and on-demand remediation capabilities across multiple network connections or over a single connection, said Velocloud. It also eliminates the need for and the additional cost of multiple firewall systems and content filters.
