NTT Communications(NTT Com), the global data and IP services arm of NTT, has partnered with Workonline Communications to provide enhanced IP network connectivity services in Africa.

Workonline, founded in South Africa, is a leading provider in the provision of connectivity services throughout sub-Saharan Africa. Through the partnership with NTT Com, the company said that it will be able to provide seamless connectivity to customers in areas it was previously unable to reach. In return, NTT Com will be able to access new network opportunities provided by Workonline, particularly in metro areas in the sub-Saharan African region.

Clive Hamilton, vice president of Network Services at NTT Europe
This partnership also fits our strategy to take NTT Com’s Global IP Network into some of the fastest-growing Internet markets in Africa and offer our customers more connectivity options in the region.

Edward Lawrence, Director of Business Development, Workonline Communications
Our goal is to provide our partners such as NTT Com with innovative and cost-effective solutions on a global scale, whilst maintaining the highest standards of design, build and deployment.
