IP-based voice, video and data services firm, Edgewater Networks has signed SoftBank as a partner to deliver managed services in Japan, implementing its Enterprise Session Border Controllers (eSBCs) into SoftBank's platform. Edgewater Networks' portfolio adds to Softbank's comprehensive suite of unified communications solution for enterprise customers. 

Edgewater Networks' solutions offer device and protocol interoperability, security and policy management, flexible and scalable all-in-one solutions, visibility to all voice and data traffic, and support for SMB to enterprise-level customers.The vendor said that service providers and enterprises of all sizes use its solutions to simplify customer premise configurations for quick and smooth installations, reduced time to market and for rapid return on invested capital.
