T-Mobile, Thursday announced that its Extended Range LTE coverage, or 700MHz is now live in the greater Indianapolis and the surrounding area, including Muncie, Anderson, Kokomo, Lafayette, Bloomington, Terre Haute, New Castle, Richmond, Logansport, Franklin, Greensburg, Greenfield, Greencastle, Martinsville and many other smaller towns throughout central Indiana.
According to T-Mobile, in 10 months, it has aggressively rolled out the 700 MHz that carries the 4G LTE signal twice as far from towers and provides four times better in-building coverage to 170 major metro areas including cities such as Houston, Austin and Washington D.C.
The third largest mobile operator in the US plans to have the Extended Range LTE in more than 350 markets by the end of this year.
