Access Network solution provider, ADTRAN is collaborating with OSS/BSS vendor, Comptel to accelerate the time-to-market for broadband providers. The partnership will see both vendors offering a turnkey integration solution.

According to ADTRAN, with the integrated solution, carriers and retail service providers can now adopt a Service Orchestration architecture capable of decoupling customer premise equipment and central office access vendor lock-in via automated FlowOne Fulfillment. Broadband providers not only realize the benefit of a streamlined, multi-vendor network access infrastructure, but can easily expand their service footprint and rapidly deploy Gigabit, Ethernet, VDSL2, G.fast, GPON and other highly desirable services to residential and business customers, added ADTRAN.

Jussi Wäre, Vice President, ANZ & Alliances APAC for Comptel
Unlike others, Comptel aims to help service providers to build a unified vendor and technology agnostic service orchestration solution, which supports any sales channel and enables smooth migration from traditional to cloud infrastructures.

The two companies have been working together to integrate key northbound interfaces from ADTRAN’s family of FTTx solutions into Comptel’s FlowOne Fulfillment. Comptel’s FlowOne Fulfillment platform can now manage ADTRAN’s entire broadband portfolio through its established network OSS system.
