NTT DOCOMO is collaborating with social media giant, Facebook to integrate DOCOMO's dmarket services, an online store for music, videos and games into Facebook. DOCOMO launched the dmarket and dmenu content distribution business back in 2011 under its Smart Life business unit and has 11.9 million subscribers to date.

From this summer, DOCOMO will enable music from its dhits music-streaming service to be shared with friends on Facebook. With this, Facebook users will be able to listen to music samples and then easily access full-length versions on dhits or purchase songs at dmusic.

In addition, DOCOMO will be launching the "d anime store" Facebook pages to provide anime content including titles, key visuals and stories, allowing Facebook users to easily find and share their favorite anime content. To make it easy to access the page, a shortcut to dmarket will be added to the Favorites section in the navigation bar of the Facebook apps from July.

DOCOMO is also planning further collaborations with Facebook, aiming to offer more added-valued online services.
