Leading enterprise business video platform provider Qumu, today announced that its cloud video solutions are now being powered by the IBM Cloud's global SoftLayer infrastructure. Qumu is leveraging SoftLayer’s growing global footprint of interconnected cloud data centers and points of presence (POPs) to provide the low-latency connections required by rich-media and video workloads. It provisions both bare metal and virtual servers on demand through SoftLayer’s API, and can spin up servers in real time to accommodate peaks in customer demand.
