Geotab, a leading provider of end-to-end telematics solutions designed for fleet management applications, Thursday announced that it will be showcasing its newest telematics technology together with Telefónica at the upcoming Mobile World Congress 2015. Geotab will make it available to all attendees to experience a simulated, interactive end-to-end in-vehicle telematics solution.

According to Geotab, the interactive display is designed to showcase the features and functionalities available on the solution including verbal driver coaching, interactive buzzers and alerts, and driver identification tools. The display will detail the vehicle trip data in MyGeotab, the company’s cloud-based software platform, to indicate what the fleet manager or dispatcher sees back at the office. Features provided on the solution include productivity management, fleet optimization, driver safety, and compliance, added Geotab.

Surya Mendonça, M2M Managing Director, Telefónica
We’re thrilled that Geotab accepted our invitation to have a space in our booth at MWC this year. m2m is a growing market with great potential, and thanks to partners like Geotab, our customers have access to one of the most comprehensive suite of m2m solutions in Europe and around the world.

Neil Cawse, CEO, Geotab
Mobile World Congress 2015 is going to be an exciting show for Geotab. Between working with our partner, Telefónica, showing off our interactive demonstration and being named as a finalist of the Global Mobile Awards, Geotab is poised to take the show by storm and leave our mark on the m2m and mobile markets. We see this event as the kickoff to 2015, and it’s shaping up to be a very good year.
