DOCOMO Customers to Enjoy TD-LTE Roaming in China via Partnership with China Mobile

NTT DOCOMO announced today that it will offer roaming on TD-LTE for its customers travelling to China via China Mobile, the world's largest mobile operator by subscribers, starting this Wednesday. DOCOMO subscribers with compatible handsets will be able to enjoy speeds up to 150 Mbps extra-high-speed LTE network, said Docomo.

According to DOCOMO, it will be the first Japanese mobile operator to offer TD-LTE roaming in China and its international LTE roaming services now cover 27 countries and regions. Going forward, DOCOMO said that it plans to partner with mobile operators to ensure that DOCOMO customers can rely on its LTE roaming services while traveling abroad.
