Fiberblaze, a premier provider of application acceleration solutions for the telecommunications and financial industries at the recent Futurecom event unveiled GTP traffic distribution solutions for network data monitoring applications in Mobile Packet Core networks to help customers capitalize on the rapid growth in mobile broadband services.

Fiberblaze said that the solution enables mobile service providers to boost their OSS/BSS capabilities with scalable GTP solutions. According to Fiberblaze, the architectural scalability stems from the ability of the solution to distribute the combined control plane (GTP_C) and user place (GTP_U) traffic based on subscriber identity to several other probe units without the need for major changes to overall system architectures.

Nikolaj Hermann, CTO of Fiberblaze.
We have leveraged our core competencies to deliver a unique product that enables a new paradigm for network data monitoring. Service providers can now boost their BSS/OSS capabilities to realize the full commercial value of network information.
