Finland-based Telecom IT solutions provider Tecnotree has announced that it has received a USD 7 million order from an operator group in Central America. The order includes hardware and software upgrades and expansions to Tecnotree AgilityTM Convergent Charging solution for Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua.

According to a statement by Technotree, deliveries will start immediately and continue towards the end of the year 2014.

Demand for digital content and data services is growing fast in the Central American markets both with prepaid and post-paid customers. Communications service providers in the region are acting upon this opportunity by enhancing capabilities of their existing business support systems and deploying new technologies such as LTE. We are honored to be in a position to help our customers meet the new market demand by rapidly deploying the upgrades and expansions required to support this growth.”
