Motorola Solutions this week has launched the enhanced VML750 LTE Vehicle Modem for government or public safety in-vehicle use, including patrol cars, fire apparatuses, ambulances, utility trucks, transit and school buses. The “ruggedized,” built to withstand heat, cold, rain, humidity, dust and vibration, LTE modem supports commercial carrier 3G/4G LTE -Band 13 and Band 4 as well as public safety band 14 with automatic fallback from 4G to 3G for optimal coverage.
The modem can act as a Wi-Fi hotspot and it comes with built-in GPS for location tracking and route optimization.
- In addition, the VML750 modem also suppports a wide variaty of in-vehile applications such as video streaming, mobile computer-aided dispatch (CAD), automatic vehicle location (AVL), resource mapping, mobile Wi-Fi access, incident command, license plate recognition, vehicle diagnostics and device management.
