Liberty Latin America on Monday announced that it has completed the acquisition of Telefónica wireless operations in Costa Rica.

Liberty Latin America is a leading communications company operating in over 20 countries across Latin America and the Caribbean under the consumer brands VTR, Flow, Liberty, Más Móvil, BTC, and Cabletica.

 

Liberty Latin America signed the deal to acquire Telefonica’s Costa Rican operation for $500 million in 2020. The transaction helps the Spanish operator to reduce its net financial debt.
