Digitel, a mobile network operator in Venezuela, has selected Orga Systems’ GOLD Convergent Charging and Billing platform to consolidate its business operation for all customer groups, payment methods as well as for all voice and data services, into a single billing system.
In addition of supporting prepaid, postpaid and service convergence, all customers’ events will be charged in real time, providing comprehensive customer credit management and spending limits
The new business support system (BSS) will be replacing the two legacy billing systems currently in place at Digitel, combining pre- and postpaid on one convergent platform regardless of the service provided and market segment or payment method.
Orga said that the end-to-end convergent solution will enable Digitel to increase revenues through innovative business and monetization models while reducing TCO and ensuring operational efficiency.
