Microsoft this week announced that it has expanded early access to its xCloud mobile game streaming service to 11 Countries in western Europe, after launching its public preview last year in the US, UK and Korea.

The xCloud game streaming service allows users to play over 50 Xbox favorites on their Android phone or tablet, streaming directly from the cloud over Wi-Fi or mobile network.

Catherine Gluckstein, GM & Head of Product for Project xCloud said, "Bringing the Project xCloud preview to gamers across Western Europe is a top priority for us. We know gaming is an important way for people to remain connected, particularly during these times of social distancing, but we also recognize how internet bandwidth has been impacted with strain on regional networks as large volumes of people responsibly stay home and go online."
