Cambium Networks, a leading global provider of wireless networking solutions, selects Sivers IMA's 5G radio frequency chipsets to support 5G rollout.

Following a successful design win with Cambium Networks in late 2018, Sivers IMA announced that Cambium Networks has decided to integrate the Sivers IMA TRX BF02 chipset with its wireless network equipment, delivering multi-Gigabit speeds using the 24-29.5 GHz radio frequency band (licensed 5G).

Cambium Networks is a global system supplier of wireless broadband solutions to service providers and industrial, enterprise and government network operators with approximately $250 million in annual revenues.

The Sivers IMA TRX BF02 chipset is a highly integrated 5G radio transceiver solution including beamforming, Power Amplifiers, Low Noise Amplifiers (LNA) as well as up and down converters. This level of integration is unique in the market and provides a cost-effective solution for system suppliers with fewer components needed.

The chipset can be used both in small cells/Access Points (APs), which are typically mounted on radio masts or lamp posts, as well as in the Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) mounted on buildings, which simplifies system integration and roll-out.

Allen Yu, Director of Product Management, Cambium Networks
We chose Sivers IMA because of the high degree of integration in their 5G chipset combined with superior performance.

Anders Strorm, CEO of Sivers IMA
With more than ten other design-wins within 5G, we are working hard to support our customers getting their solutions to market.
