Telecom Argentina has selected Nokia Worldwide IoT Network Grid (WING) to offer IoT services to its enterprise customers in the country and across Latin America.

Telecom Argentina is the first company in the country to close a deal with Nokia to offer IoT services to its enterprise customers using the fully virtualized and future-proofed WING infrastructure, offered as a managed service, which will allow companies to launch IoT services faster to improve their customer experience.

Nokia said its WING technology will provide Telecom Argentina’s customers with strategic opportunities ensuring the implementation of suitable solutions to various industry verticals that seek for IoT services in Argentina with a fast time to market, enabling the operator to capture multiple IoT opportunities in various industry verticals, including automotive, agriculture, utilities, finance and services.

Alongside this, incremental services such as connectivity and device management will assist Telecom Argentina to create value-added opportunities in today’s network and the 5G era to come. Nokia’s IMPACT platform will provide device management functionality as part of the overall WING solution.
