ADVA and Dell EMC announced a strategic collaboration to deliver open virtualized uCPE solutions for service provider and enterprise customers.
Built on ADVA’s Ensemble Connector NFVi platform, the new uCPE solution will enable network operators to easily access virtual network functions (VNFs), including software-defined WAN (SD-WAN). New and existing Dell EMC customers will be able to take advantage of consolidated management as well as a comprehensive portfolio of over 50 onboarded VNFs. The joint solution has already been harnessed by Verizon to securely deploy multiple software-based services on a single uCPE installation.
The collaboration gives more businesses access to Ensemble Harmony Ecosystem, a unique multi-vendor environment with unparalleled variety and choice. It enables customers to avoid vendor lock-in and unleash new service innovation in an instant. Now, with Ensemble Connector running on the Dell Virtual Edge Platform family, many more service providers and enterprises have the freedom to explore product offerings and create try-before-you-buy programs for new dynamic offerings.
