NetCracker Technology announced recently that M-net Telekommunikations GmbH (M-net) has gone live with NetCracker’s next-generation BSS solution. This completes the first phase in a significant BSS transformation that is designed to streamline operations and reduce costs by consolidating M-net’s billing platforms onto the NetCracker solution.

"The program is also designed to implement billing functionality that will enable M-net to pursue new revenue sources and enrich the customer experience by developing and launching new service offerings. The first major initiative to be supported by the billing solution is M-net’s interconnect billing service. M-net is a German service provider that operates its own fiber optic network and provides both business and residential users with a full range of telecommunications services, including telephony, Internet, DSL, and enterprise connectivity services."

“NetCracker’s BSS solution is allowing us to operate more efficiently, and it is also opening the door for us to pursue important new service offerings such as wholesale,” said Christian Grodau, CIO at M-net. “With the advanced functionality and flexibility provided by this solution, M-net will be well positioned as we continue to meet the growing and increasingly complex billing demands of our expanding business.”

“By building a relationship with M-net and developing an understanding of their vision for growing the company, NetCracker has delivered a cost-effective, scalable solution that meets the billing requirements for its current and future service offerings,” said Sylvain Seignour, NetCracker’s Vice President Americas and Europe. “With NetCracker’s advanced technology powering their infrastructure, M-net will be able to provide a rich customer experience and quickly monetize market opportunities as they arise.”
