Sify Technologies, an ICT Solutions and Services leader in India, has selected Versa Networks' Secure Cloud IP platform, SD-WAN and SD-Branch solutions to broaden Sify's Cloud@Core strategy.

The joint solution allows Sify customers to deploy Versa's software-defined WAN and software-defined branch VNFs that enable a smooth transition from their existing connectivity and security systems. The SIFY/Versa SD-WAN offer ensures that clients realize greater TCO, highly secure and available edge connectivity, application user experience, and traffic conditioning with optimization and flexibility.

Sify's SD-WAN and SD-Branch offering utilizes the Versa FlexVNF Software, which combines network and security capabilities to provide a full suite of Layer 3 to Layer 7 IP services that are built on a cloud-native, multitenant software platform. It provides strong segmentation and integrated on-premises security functions that enable a dynamic policy-driven infrastructure with user, device, location, application and network context.

Kumar Mehta, Co-Founder and CDO, Versa Networks
Versa's offer achieves 80% TCO savings, supports connectivity over any transport, enhances application experience, has built in NSS Labs' recommended NGFW security and UTM, delivers flawless voice and video experience using traffic conditioning, and supports multi-cloud environments.

Daniel Alex, President, Telecom Business, Sify
All of Sify's upcoming solutions integrate a Cloud@Core framework. We see this as the central architecture around which today's legacy infrastructure will transition to a cloud-centric platform. Sify's Versa-powered SD-WAN offering will be a crucial element to enable this transition.
