Comba Telecom Deploys Multi-band In-Building Wireless Solution for Dubai Frame

Comba Telecom said it has successfully deployed a full turnkey in-building wireless solution for The Dubai Frame, a new architectural landmark in Dubai, that enables multi-operator, multi-band and multi-technology wireless network services in the colossal rectangular structure.

The 50-storey Dubai Frame measures 150 meters high and 93 meters wide, which is expected to handle over 2 million tourists annually. A museum on its lower floor connects the bases of the two main towers and the tops are connected by an observation deck. With seamless network coverage, visitors can access this huge structure using their mobile phone through smart ticketing systems.

The in-building wireless solution provides a seamless network system for this architectural icon with an area of approximately 4,500 sqm, said Comba Telecom.

In this project, panel antennas, OMNI antennas, cable trays and splitters are installed throughout The Dubai Frame with a wide range of frequency bands embracing 2G/3G/4G for G900, U2100, U900, L2100 and L1800 from the ground floor, along the two towers to the observation deck, ensuring visitors remain connected through ubiquitous coverage.

In addition to the solution applied to this project, Comba Telecom also offers an array of products and solution that were customized according to requirements, including DAS, small cell, mBDA, RX series high power repeater and more.
