OnePlus has partnered with Amazon.in to bring its flagship 'OnePlus One' smartphone to India, allowing Indians to start purchasing the device on Amazon.in from December 2nd. According to a statement by OnePlus, users in India will need to receive 'India-specific invites' through OnePlus and Amazon.in to purchase the '2014 Flagship Killer' device. The company said that the two platforms have been integrated so that invites claimed into a OnePlus account will be used to purchase the device on Amazon.in. The company also said that users interested in buying the smartphone can log onto oneplus.net/in and register their interest for an invite.
The smartphone is powered by the latest Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor and boasts a 5.5-inch Full HD (1080p) from Qualcomm. It comes with 16GB or 64GB of storage space, a 13MP shooter on the rear and 5MP snapper on the front.

According to OnePlus, the company expands into the Indian market by opening an office in India, the first outside of their headquarters, with a local team led by Vikas Agarwal, General Manager of OnePlus India. This will be the first region in which a localized service infrastructure is established, offering phone and walk-in support to users around the country, noted One Plus.

Pete Lau, CEO of OnePlus
