OPPO together with their telco partner, Celcom hosted a launch event on Thursday to debut the brand new OPPO R15 Pro to the Malaysian market.
Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 octa-core processor (2.2GHz) with 6GB of RAM and a generous 128GB of internal storage, the device sports a 6.28″ Full HD+ OLED display with a resolution of 2280×1080 pixels.
The OPPO R15 will continue to advance the limits of photography, by featuring not only dual rear cameras of 16MP+20MP, but also an upgraded scenario recognition based on AI-enhanced technologies including AI Recognition, AI Beautification, and AR stickers.
The Chinese smartphone maker collaborated with famed designer Karim Rashid to create two trendy colours for the OPPO R15 Pro, that is Cosmic Purple and Ruby Red. The Cosmic Purple and Ruby Red phones are designed with an aluminium frame and transparent glass in a new gradient design, allowing light and shadow to play off with the colours whilst producing unlimited artistic possibilities for users.
In the past two years, the OPPO R series has broken sales records in multiple markets, claims OPPO. According to IDC, OPPO's 2017 sales grew by 12% compared to 2016, further cementing its position as the No.4 smartphone maker globally.
