Singtel, Tuesday unveiled a new version of its popular mobile payments app, Singtel Dash, in conjunction with the launch of the Singtel Transit NFC SIM.

Singtel Dash is Singapore’s first all-in-one mobile payments solution - offering fast and secure transit payments and top-ups, in-store and online retail payments, as well as local and overseas money transfers. Everyone in Singapore can access Singtel Dash for their payments needs, regardless of their telco relationship or device.

The Singtel Transit NFC SIM effectively transforms NFC phones into ez-link cards. Via the Singtel Dash app, customers can enjoy the ease of checking and topping up their ez-link balances on the go. Customers using the Singtel Transit NFC SIM will be provided Singtel's assistance for the registration of the EZ-Link service.

To celebrate the launch of the Singtel Transit NFC SIM and the new Singtel Dash, Singtel is teaming up with Samsung to offer free rides on buses, MRT, LRT and taxis until the 31st of May 2016 for Singtel Dash customers registering for the NFC SIM on selected Samsung phones.
