Reliance Jio Infocomm announced that it will be rolling out a 'state-of-the-art' pan India digital services business as part of its 4G LTE service rollout. The new entrant to India's telecoms market released the plan as part of its parent company, Reliance Industries' third quarter financial report.
Reliance Jio said that "In addition to fixed and wireless broadband connectivity offering superior voice and data services on an all-IP network, RJIL will also offer end-to-end solutions that address the entire value chain across various digital services in key domains such as education, healthcare,security, communications, financial services, government-citizen interfaces and entertainment." The operator, however did not provide details of the services and timelines for the launch.
The operator which recently launched its 4G pilot service to close to 100,000 of Reliance Industries' employees, plans to provide nationwide seamless 4G services using LTE in 800MHz, 1800MHz and 2300MHz bands through an integrated ecosystem. The combined spectrum footprint across these frequency bands provides significant network capacity and deep in-building coverage, said the operator.
