TELUS has partnered with Cisco and Microsoft to offer a full range of cloud services to its enterprise customers. The service provider expanded its cloud portfolio to include a hybrid cloud service - TELUS Hybrid Cloud - as part of its managed Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) offering. The cloud services portfolio, said TELUS, includes public and private cloud options.

TELUS Hybrid Cloud which is based on Cisco Cloud Architecture for the Microsoft Cloud Platform combines private and public cloud delivered from TELUS’ Canadian data centres and Microsoft Azure. The integrated solution which can be managed via a single management portal will be commercially available in the first quarter of next year.

According to TELUS, its other cloud services, Public Cloud will be offering shared compute and storage infrastructure for elastic, non-critical workloads; and Private Cloud will be delivering dedicated infrastructure for mission-critical applications with heightened security or compliance requirements.
