CenturyLink this week debuts Prism TV, an interactive TV service to Portland residents and businesses, The service which is delivered through CenturyLink's nationwide fiber optic network and via its fiber-enabled gigabit broadband service which was launched by the Operator last year as an alternative to cable and satellite services. According to CenturyLink, the IPTV service is currently available to Portland residents and businesses with fiber service in the Sunnyside, Hawthorne, Belmont, Richmond, Mt. Tabor, Kerns, Hosford-Abernethy, Creston-Kenilworth, Sellwood-Moreland, Buckman, Brooklyn and Laurelhurst neighborhoods. 

The interactive TV promises advanced TV features, including a wireless set-top box, whole-home DVR, a mobile app for watching programming at home or on the go, video on demand and an app center for accessing social network sites. In addition to these, Prism TV also offers premium mobile content from HBO GO®, MAX GO®, STARZ Play and SHOWTIME Anytime®, and a large selection of sports channels, including the NFL Network, SEC Network, Pac-12 Network and Big Ten Network.
