Warid Expands 4G LTE Services to Murree

Having covered eight major cities in Pakistan, Warid Telecom expands its 4G LTE services to Murree, allowing residents of Murree to have access to high speed mobile internet services which will enable them to stream videos, play online games and download data on the go. Warid Telecom, a leading mobile operator in Pakistan launched its 4G LTE services early this year with coverage in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala and Faisalabad.

With the 4G service launch, Warid Telecom is also offering free of charge SIM replacement offer for Warid consumers for their LTE handsets and a free 500MB of LTE data for 7 days on trial basis to new and existing customers. To help customers onboard the new service and to help them to manage overages, Warid has enabled a notification service that tracks mobile data usage, allowing customers to configure the threshold limit.

Warid is investing approximately US$500 million over the next five years to expand its network across the country with plans to cover more cities in coming months.
