iflix, Southeast Asia’s Over-the-Top(OTT) startup, today announced that it has entered an agreement with Vimond Media Solutions, a leading enabler of unique digital video services for continued development of its Internet TV platform. Vimond will work with iflix to power and grow the online and mobile Internet TV service’s technology across all markets.

Vimond will provide a managed service for iflix based on its online video platform, and provide operational expertise gained from more than 15 years in the broadcasting and online TV industries. In order to support iflix, Vimond will establish a regional operations centre in Kuala Lumpur.

Headquarted in Bergen, Norway, Vimond, a spun off from Norway's national broadcaster TV 2, offers platforms, applications and professional services to power innovative OTT services in the Nordic Markets, including TV2 Sumo (Norway), Tv4 Play (Sweden), CSports (Nordics) and MTV3 Katsomo (Finland).
