For Singaporean fans of the Samsung Galaxy S6 and Samsung Galaxy S6 edge, Singtel will be offering these new devices from the 11th of April this year. Customers can use these handsets to enjoy Singtel's 4G+ network which boasts mobile data speeds up to 300Mbps. In May last year, Singtel switched on its 4G+ network, which runs on the LTE-Advanced (LTE-A) technology, at over 150 high-traffic buildings and MRT tunnels, and debuted the Galaxy S5 4G+, offering similar speeds.

According to Singtel, apart from the super-fast mobile internet, all customers on its Combo Plans 2 and above will also enjoy free access to Singtel’s Premium WiFi service, promising connectivity that is five times faster than most free WiFi services, with availability across over 400 hotspots in the country including major shopping malls and MRT stations. Singtel said that since the launch of its Combo Plans last year, more than half of the customers on these plans have accessed the Singtel Premium WiFi network.

Johan Buse, VP of Consumer Marketing, Singtel
Besides high quality outdoor coverage, we have been investing heavily in enhancing network quality within major shopping malls and MRT stations around the island. Together with the Samsung Galaxy S6 and Samsung Galaxy S6 edge, we will bring Singtel customers the best possible mobile surfing experience. In addition, customers who buy either model on Combo Plans will enjoy an extra 1GB of data for six months.
