Indonesia's Telkomsel has collaborated with Facebook to launch the Facebook Mobile Center, a feature within the Facebook application that allows Telkomsel subscribers to access the operator's vast range of data services.

As such, Telkomsel customers can purchase data packages and emergency packages while they are still in the Facebook application. In addition to this, they can access MyTelkomsel from the Mobile Center, and check on their credit, data packages, and other Telkomsel products and services. Customers can also access Telkomsel Instagram from the Mobile Center.

Telkomsel is keen to collaborate and create new synergies with Facebook, as to build its potential for the development of 5G services, which in turn can provide broad benefits for businesses, the government and the society in Indonesia.

Prior to this, Telkomsel had just launched its new corporate vision #BukaAllPeluang, which marks the beginning of a movement to open up various new opportunities for the digital community in Indonesia. Facebook, as one of Telkomsel's digital transformation partners, supports this new vision by sharing knowledge and practical tips to win in digital marketing. This ranges from increasing customer engagement on digital platforms, as well as encouraging customers to take advantage of new features and services from Telkomsel products, such as the MyTelkomsel application, Dunia Games, and MAXstream.

Rachel Goh, Marketing Director, Telkomsel
Telkomsel is at an important point of digital transformation, and has entered new businesses outside of telecommunications over the past five to 10 years. Telkomsel is no longer just providing connectivity services but has developed a business by establishing several strategic partnerships with digital companies. The strong collaboration with Facebook enables Telkomsel to reach Indonesian users across all demographics and empowers them to live, work and play in bold new ways.

Pieter Lydian, Country Director, Facebook in Indonesia
Facebook is here in Indonesia to support communities and businesses in Indonesia so that later they can strengthen the power of digital technology in the country. Every day, people access Facebook to connect with the things they love and as time goes on, those relationships become more meaningful.
