Magyar Telekom has also started offering unlimited music on its data packages. Just last week, T-Mobile, one of the largest mobile operators in the United States, offered free music streaming service on its high speed 4G LTE data service. Bundling music as part of the tariff plan, either for free or for a subscription is becoming common among leading service providers. Magyar, the principal provider of telecommunications and infocommunications (ICT) in Hungary, is rolling out data packages that includes unlimited inland talktime and access to Spotify, the popular cloud based music streaming service. Spotify has more than 20 million tracks that can be accessed online and on mobile and is used by more than 24 million users worldwide across 57 markets with more than 6 million paying subscribers.
- Magyar's music tariff packages are available in 3 types - Music XS, S and M. The access can also be purchased as an add-on option. According to Magyar, the packages are designed to cater for all 3 major categories of music consumers - the ones who want unlimited access, those who listen to music regularly and university and college students who look for cheaper options to music streaming.
