Telenor Myanmar announced that its popular ‘Star’ loyalty program has successfully teamed up with more than 60 different brands in order to provide several offers and benefits to all Telenor STAR prepaid and post-paid customers nationwide.

Telenor STAR program was introduced in June 2018 in order to acknowledge and appreciate the high valued customers by offering them with a series of privileges and benefits. As of now, more than 2 million of Telenor Myanmar’s total customer base are enjoying STAR program.

Telenor Myanmar is striving to expand its STAR program by intending to tie-up partnership with more than 100 brands by the first quarter of 2019. With the aim to improve customer experience through a digitalizing journey, customers now have easier access to the program through Telenor Myanmar website in addition to the use of USSD and SMS.

Each and every prepaid customer who has been using Telenor’s services for at least six months, with certain minimum usage will automatically attain Telenor STAR status and a chance to convert to STAR post-paid plan. There will be three tiers under STAR status – Silver, Gold and Platinum based on both the length of stay with Telenor and the average spending of the last three months by each customer.

According to their STAR tiers, customers can enjoy a series of benefits and up to 30% discounts from more than 60 brands in several categories including online shopping, travel, beauty products, cinemas, airlines, apparel, lifestyle, education and restaurants in Myanmar. Benefits and offers from all the brands can be viewed at https://www.telenor.com.mm/en/personal/telenor-star#starspecialoffers.

STAR customers can also enjoy privileged services from Telenor Myanmar such as free calls to Call Center, prioritized service, extra credit (chance to subscribe special Kyo Thone; three times more than the normal amount) and compensation for call drops (1-minute extra bonus).
